Additional Road Works Completed under LURDP In addition to the ongoing Luganville Urban Road Development Project (LURDP), the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has completed 1.5 kilometres of road works from Forma Sanma Club to the Sanma Provincial Headquarters via the Northern District Hospital (NDH).

The works commenced on Friday and were completed on Sunday night. The newly sealed section, however, remains temporarily closed to traffic to allow sufficient time for curing and final inspection.

This newly improved section is a key urban route that provides daily access to the Northern District Hospital and is expected to help reduce congestion across other Luganville urban roads once reopened
