                                                                                                   Road Upgrade Progress D’York Street

    As part of the Government’s Urban Roads Improvement Program, the Public Works Department (PWD) is pleased to report that work on D’York Street is progressing well. A total of 320 meters of roadbase has been laid on the existing base and stabilized, with tarseal application scheduled for next week.

    The road upgrade project, contracted to Sandrino, is being implemented under the supervision of PWD engineers and site supervisors to ensure the quality and durability of the work meet required standards. This project forms part of PWD’s ongoing commitment to improving urban infrastructure, with a focus on: Enhancing road durability Improving community access Supporting safer and smoother travel for residents and road users
